An autobiographywho-what-when-where-why-how?
I was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and most of what I make still traces back there. In high school, I attended the High School for the Gifted (VNU-HCM) as part of the Math Specialized class (Toán 2124). After finishing 11th grade, I moved to the US to attend Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Massachusetts, where I also picked up running!
I can't say how grateful for the communities, teachers, and friends who shaped my journey and supported me along the way. In my high school time, I attended two math summer programs — PiMA in Vietnam and Mathroots in the US. These two camps introduced me to wonderful peers, entirely new ways of thinking, and how I appreciate math. If you're a high school student passionate about math, I can't recommend them enough.
Currently, I'm studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Pomona College in Claremont, California. While I'm still exploring where my interests will take me, my current plan is to pursue graduate school after college.
